ELECTRIC SAFETY THROUGHOUT 365 DAYS. Electrical safety information is a precondition for a prosperous life.

INSULATION RESISTANCE

Decision criteria

  • - If the insulation resistance of the main circuit and of each branch circuit is below the reference value
  • - If the insulation resistance of the electrical appliance/instrument is below the reference value
  • - If the insulation resistance cannot be measured because the power supply cannot be cut off

A. If the insulation resistance of the main circuit and of each
branch circuit exceeds the reference value
The insulation resistance measurement can be omitted in the
following cases

- From the service wire connection point to the first service
equipment
- If the single pole switch will be installed on the overhead
low-voltage outdoor lighting facility
[Technology] 5, 27, 52
[Decision] 12, 13

B. If the insulation resistance of the electrical equipment exceeds
the reference value
